The Paranza del Geco are back!! With real southern Italian tarantellas and pizzicas. Beware! This is High Energy music!! Guaranteed to drive out your demons.
They played an AMAZING show in May and this time they are back in London with 10 FABULOUS FEMALE DANCERS all the way from Italy and ready to inspire you with their incredible music and moves. Pizzica and Tarantella are traditional Italian music and dance. These days they are very popular again with big festivals all over southern Italy. The most famous is La Notte de la Taranta. Experience the amazing energy for yourself.

This is not a difficult dance, but with a bit of coaching from our 10-strong dance team you'll be swirling and twirling in no time. It is often danced with shawls or handkerchiefs and red and white are typical colours.
WORKSHOP2 (in the same venue)
>>LEARN TAMBURELLO PRECUSSION from 6pm-7.45pm
The Tamburello is a large tambourine with small cymbals. Your chance to learn from a master the basics of how to play and to feel the rhythms. Some tamborellos can be provided.
